Description
The wine has been produced with inspiration from the Renaissance, in fact at that time they macerated the wine with fruits and spices.
And this is where we started…
Pippi Stravagante was obtained starting from the wine of our territory: Lambrusco. A slow maceration of 3 months in stainless steel with red fruits such as pomegranate and mulberry with a special selection of spices among which absinthe and Guinea pepper give a delicate spicy note but at the same time a marked note of red fruit. Following this, the wine is briefly matured in oak barrels, which gives it the tannic character that can be perceived on the palate in the final part of the wine. The complex hints of vanilla and its sweetness are given by honey.
It is a wine designed to be paired with sweet dishes or used after a meal as a meditation wine.
Ideal with Torta Sbrisolona, Anello di Monaco Torta delle Rose and Torta Paradiso. Also interesting with pumpkin tortelli and Cappone alla Stefani.
